yep can't fault that 300, its a very very nice lens and such contrast! I love it.
Those waves were truly huge and great stuff in capturing that. Light on his face as well!
yeah I took quite a few of slightly differing compositions to try and capture the scale of the waves - this was as close as I got.

yeah it surprising really, it is also a hard grad so I expected much more distinct changes when the horizon was not spot on flat...
