I am a bit rusty with my technique, and the rain surely didnt help too much but here are a few from Saturday. Comments and constructive critcism please!

Nice to see you joining the hardcore OCF club...

#1 needs Andrew's softbox to soften the light. Take that hose out of the background while you are at it... :wink:

#2 is quite nice indeed. I would crop really tight as a portrait.... have two halves of each flower visible only....

I'm not really joining the HARDCORE OCF club, but I do indulge in OCF a bit more now.

Thank damn hose...I didnt even notice it when I checked the back of the camera...but then again i was trying to keep the viewfinder dry.

The flower shots are nice, in particular the third one catches my eye as being well composed and exposed. With the OCF i reckon you need to work on balancing the flash with teh amibent, this can also be helped with Surens suggestion of the diffuser,ATJ's one is spot on, which I have used and is quite effective, cheap and easy.
