Getting lucky at Bare Island

Most of the time, the nice sunsets happen when you don't have a camera with you. This time, I had the camera at home so had to double back to get it so missed most of the colors. When I chose this position, it was already losing it's brilliance..... I have a few more to process but I don't think I captured this one that well. It was absolutely fantastic to watch though...

Note to self - DO NOT do pano shots at 10mm... Dammit...

For you C&C.

Suren

I think you've done very well this time. Great colours and I like the angle you've chosen. I would however like to see the bottom cropped a little so there is less foreground rock and the eye is drawn more strongly to the island

I'll expand a little on what Peter has said.

I think you have two good shots here.

For image one, crop ut most of the foreground rock, creating a pano image of the island.

For image two, crop out the bridge and the island, leaving you with an image of the foreground rock.

Thanks for crop ideas... These days I am trying to crop less (rather do it when I take the shot...) but it's good to get your input...

it does not matter what angle you use and whether it is in teh centre of the frame or the corner..that bridge is soooo wonky it ain't funny, if anything the UWA makes it look better

nice shot BTW Suren - I missed this one first go round. Uncropped is how I like it :)
