Well I found the thread from last years Coogee Sunrise - I ave not looked at these since I posted them last year, I am glad I did not either - its very interesting to see how different it was this time around!
If your interested, here's the previous thread (I had to fix me broken links
)

thats where them booties are great - it took a few goes and plenty of patience to get the movement (that was why I lived in the same spot for quite a while!), it is even harder cause you have to wait 5-10 minutes for the big wave set to come thru.
I like the first one Gerry especially that you managed to get some detail in the clouds.

I am slowly learning to always check the other direction for sunrises and this was one of them - I really like the lights of the beach in this frame.

excellent

The first shot had just the Graduated ND on, the remaining had the screw on ND and Graduated ND. Typically, my better seacapes have about 4 edits in CNX2, excluding any dust/flare/bunnies/bins/people clonage. The edits are usually D-lighting, warmth, contrast (tonal and normal) and control points (rarely more than two). If this takes more than 5 minutes, I give up and move on or come back later with a fresh approach.
If your really keen I can post the original raw converted jpegs - I have done this in some previous posts from memory.

yeah, might actually just crop to remove some of it!
I also liked how you did some flare control behind that rock.
that was also wave protection control
