Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Went rather click-happy at the MotoGP... but the old (and I do mean old) Sigma never seems to do as well as I'd like it to (I know poor tradesman blaming his tools... but after being Spoilt with the L series 17-40, I really want a better long-ish lens, thinking 70-200)

This is the shot I'm most happy with so far - happy to hear your thoughts/feedback

I'm tempted to retouch out the foilage visible under the belly pan as it detracts a little - thoughts?

I completely agree with removing the foliage.

John, the light and color scheme looks like a brochure! Well done.

Great work with the chainsaw, looks like Lukey Heights.

John, Love the shot and considering using a short lens is great, But the killer for me in this shot is the wheels they are frozen and i like to see the motion blur in them so you know they are moving very fast. It is ok to use a high shutter speed if the bike is coming towards as you don't notice it but always try to use a low shutter when shooting side on. Colors are great.

Cheers
John

Craig...
sure is - Coming out of Lukey Heights into MG Corner ;)

BBJ...
know what you mean (although viewing the larger versions you can see there is some motion blur on the wheels - but I agree, more blur would have been desirable... next year I guess ;) )
