Shot using the Nikon D1 and the 28-105mm Nikkor. No EXIF data (long gone) but I do know they were hand held.

The dawn shot was about 4.30am on arrival at a resort in Fiji and the other was sunset.

Great natural colours Chris.

Yes it certainly was Craig and most enjoyable. I had more camera gear and computer gear with me than clothes - I was known as ”that naked tourist from downunder”

Fantastic shots Chris, i love the second shot shows a bit more in the pic but great shots. Only wish when i was younger when i went to Fiji i had a camera as i was very young when my parents took us all on a cruise for 2 weeks on the Oriana, i spent more time in the pool as it was the only place i didn't feel sick. LOL Well done mate top shots.
Cheers
John

Beautiful, Chris. Just beautiful.
The first looks like maybe you used a graduated ND filter.
I assume that your horizon is straight on the second one.

Good point about the horizon Steve - actually it is straight but I had to look for a long time to make sure it was.

The first pic had a graduated blue filter applied through nik efex pro to darken the top of the pic. :D
