A few from a trip into the hills on the weekend.
Woods Point had 4000 people and 36 pubs during it's peak in the gold rush...
Wind swept Mt Buller...

The HDR-look works nicely in the first, but you have some halo-ing in #2

Thanks.
I've had another go at the second shot.

Sorry to say, the HDR doesn't work for me - personal opinion only, but they look a little garish to me.

I can see I need a trip down to the Victorian alps. The SLK really doesn''t get enough exercise these days. neither do I.
Rather than the HDR on the first two - which I don't think works that well on these images - I would rather like to see some desat versions of them. You have two naturally desaturated subjects here. Go with the flow, rather than fight it.
Cheers.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give it a try tonight.
I wouldn't take a SLK anywhere near Woods Point!
Kevington to Woods Point is 60 odd KM's of dirt, gravel and corrugation.
It is doable in a sedan, but it's not a good drive.

Which sounds like a whole lot of fun.

Maybe.
The road up Mt Buller would be more fun.
