Hi again everyone

I am having fun this weekend going through our photos and choosing the keepers and the ones to print.

Here are some landscape shots that I have been playing with.... any thoughts as always appreciated.

This was shot in Death Valley National Park, temperature was easily over 50 degrees and neither of us got out of the car for very long periods of time!

This one was one of our fav spots in Yosemite National Park. We did a photography tour here that took is to places Ansell Adams took some of his more famous images, and we were surprised to see they were quite often taken in fairly 'boring' locations. This wasnt one of them! It was spectacular here.

Another one from Yosemite, the famous 'Tunnel View'

Love the second one. What an experience doing an Ansel Adams photo tour. I would like to see the top of the mountains in the first one, it kind of looks cut off.

Wow...I like the #2...but it seems like they could do with a bit more saturation and maybe even a BW treatment to pay homage to the master!

They love their pine trees over there eh? :rotfl2:

The last two images have very nice compositions, however the first thing that jumped out at me was the slightly off putting way the sky and BG looks like a very pronounced, like they are on a different layer or there is hongkong style smog about :cough: . Maybe brightening up the BG and sky a fraction and giving that area a bump in the contrast? Nonetheless, as mentioned the composition works very well on these two images. The first image does need more space on top...

Looks like a very nice park too!
