taken with my "new to me" 60/2.8G micro picked up used on flea bay for $380. bloody cheap and a great lens.
f4.5 iso1600 with just a kiss of fill flash from remote sb900 and a bagload of natural light.

Certainly is sharp.. This would make a great BW conversion.

wowsers, check them eyes out..cold as ice! They really hold your attention when looking at the picture. Any reason for the off centre compo? Maybe whacking him straight in the middle of the frame might work better?

now to get into the real stuff, you got a tidy macro lens there, I reckon you could get alot closer than what you have in this picture plus, probably the only time he will sit/lay still long enough.

I like the off centre composition just as I like the non symetric top the little critter is wearing.

yeah, its funny like that, some people really like symmetry and others don't and avoid it, others just don't notice it. Lucky we are all wired differently, cause it would be fing boring otherwise.

yepp, to achieve MFD for this little sucker you actually need to remove the lens hood.
