Happy new year all!

Here is a concept I wanted to do with fireworks. I've wanted to do this for a while now but have been waiting for fireworks to start up again during the NY period. I already had my setup last year of "kodak moment" firework photos, but didn't want to get restricted to just using a tripod, so I went handheld to get the effects i wanted to pull off this concept. So instead of critique, how about a review of creative gesture?

Happy new year
Its good tomseemsome lateral thoughtnon this subject
I like the concept of presenting the fireworks like as a living energy confluence
The presentation in wide format is cinematic and dramatic so kudos there
Looks like its a combination of multiple and long exposures

10points for innovation

Two thumbs up. :D

I really like these. The first one looks really alive and the crop really suits the shape.

The second one is my pick as it looks like it is raining fire (even more so than normal firework shots). I am left wanting to see more of the frame in this one.

I like it, it's quite a refreshing approach.

Interesting... with the second are you just panning down and to the right just before closing the shutter?

Nicely done! Love #2.

I tried a few bokeh/OOF tricks but realised that I needed a longer lens to get the right effect! Wasted alot of time trying it out as well.
