Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Re: STiInteresting colour in these, late arvo shots? Great to see someone posting pics nice and early. BTW: add a location to your profile (suburb, state)

Re: STiThat there is a car
3 very nice and diverse shots, good to see 3 different images rather than 3 same same ones... Composition wise I like them, each has its merits and can hold its own without excessive PP. The PP is a bit much for my liking, the green filter (or whatever it is) is a bit off putting. In nutshell I reckon backing off the strength of the PP by about 50% and they would be to my taste. The vignetting in image 2 could be imporved by not applying it all corners of the image, don't be afraid to apply vignetting to only two or three corners. In this case I would leave the sky as it is since thats the first thing my brain went to rather than the car. hth PS welcome to DSLRusers gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: STiWelcome to the forum.
You have dealt with the highlights quite nicely! I quite like your PP but as Gerry has mentioned, a slightly toned down version may be more appealing. Can you tell us what you did to get this toning? Color channels? BTW: Nice ride. I hear the GTR is also primo.
Re: STiThanks for all comments, next time i'll go a little easy on the PP...
I've got the basic pre-sets saved in lightroom that i used on these photos... if you would like a copy just shoot me a PM with your email and i'd be more than happy to send them to you.
