There's a story behind this one. We had just arrived at the ground and one of the guys that we came with said "I have a feeling about the third ball of the next over." I hadn't even got my camera out at this point, but spurred on by his prediction I took this shot cold on the third ball of the next over with no high speed, not even a chance to look at the settings. He shut up for the rest of the game and wouldn't make another prediction (lucky too as there were precious few other highlights for Australia).

This is what happens when you've had just a wee bit too much of the amber fluid. Bored security were there in seconds.

Ian,

The first of these is great. Perfect timing, too.

I am a little surprised that there aren't more shots like this; it's not as if there weren't too many opportunities to capture Aussie wickets falling .... :)

There were only 3 on day 5, weren't there?

I have more pleasant images of the Aussies demolishing the Poms 4 years ago in the real Ashes tour. Including a photo of Warne's 700th wicket. This series is a little lamentable...just a little. Good thing I am Chilean :biglaugh:

Great images by the way

that said, I probably would not tell him he looks like a fing fairy 'cause he looks a bit mean! I wonder if he got into the pub after the match?
