From memory this was high ISO shot. Has a bit of a TRI-X feel to it.

Always good to see your images Matt.

#2 looks a little desaturated? Is that because of the high ISO?

Looks like you were up in the balcony watching these performaces? Where was this?

Just goes to show how one can be so confused. Matt K and 105mm and I immediately thought of an anti-tank gun :roll:

:biglaugh: it could have also been a shot of the breech of a tank's 105mm

The shot was taken at the Olympic Park during a taichi/karate/kung fu competition.
I may have desaturated the second image because of the weird mixed lighting which gave a colour balance that was impossible to get right. If I can't get the colour balance right then I'll go to black and white or try desaturating the colours. :D
