I prefer #1, the rich blue sky really lifts that eagle off the image. The duller blues in #2 provide nice contrast against the whites of the eagle but I keep finding myself concerned about those blues

the images were taken on different days and locations, the bird with prey shot by the sea and the other a little inland on a clear day.....
