Had an excellent day out in the Blue Mountains - we spent the morning (from 8AM) in the Valley of the Waters at Wentworth Falls.

The conditions were perfect with very overcast (if a little drizzly) skies and lots of cloud cover ensuring nice slow shutter speeds.


NIKON D90 + 17.0-50.0 mm f/2.8 @ 17 mm, 1 sec at f / 16, ISO 200, CPL

You have really managed to squeeze out some nice and slow shutter speeds.

As for our Dragon friend...he looks a bit blue!

I like the first and the third here. Nicely done.

Nice compositions but you might want to dial back on the whites a bit....a little hot for mine
#2 looks a little cool as well especially in the trees.. maybe a little warming might improve it
Nailed the lizzard but then again he is used to posing...probably telling his family right now how many customers he had on Saturday

None of the whites had clipped however I've selectively reduced the exposure on the whites now and brought out a little more detail in the very dark areas on #1 and #2 - what do people think?

I hadn't adjusted the white balance on #2 or #3 so I've also warmed them up a bit now too

The lizard was very accommodating
