well, the first 25 images ... in the "C - *captionname* " section

great way to spend good friday ... until the boat broke down mid way through my turn (no shots of me today, but a couple from last session)

Was rather hard to keep steady on the boat, and Nikky (the nikon) copped a few splashes of water, oh well thats what its there for! ... Sat on ISO 250 / 320 for most shots, A-priority F7.1 which averaged around 1/1250th ... just enough to over-ride the bad hand and boat shake. Kept an eye on shutter speed considering i was in A mode, but i knew that on a bright day, F7.1 would keep me fairly safe and high so far as shutter is concerned, and keeps me near the lens sweet spot.

Shot JPEG as theyre not exactly important shots, P&S curve ... PP just slight level and saturation bump on a few pics, and USM 170 / 1.2 / 3

Cheers

Great action shots.

One of the difficulties i've discovered when photographing that type of subject is that it's diffcult to get a good exposure of the subject with all the bright white water glaring and overpowering the poor little cameras exposure detecting thingy (?) A quick curve adjustment can help though.

Pretty good though, well done. You certainly have an interesting life with all the stuff you do. The road trips, the boarding, the parties, the 4WDing. Keep it up and enjoy your youth :)

cheers ... there were sections wehre the rider had a full frontal face of sun ... but most of the time the rider was sideon to the sun or behind it ... so yeah shadowing was a bit of a problem... but you get that !
