Just some sunset photos from Jervis Bay from the past month. Second one is in black and white as the sunset was blocked by clouds but loved the cloud formation.

The first one's light doesn't seem that remarkable, the last two could have definitely used a more interesting sky, but the second one (B&W) is well done... I like the repetitive yet subtly different texture (and I'm a sucker for B&W).

Despite #1 being quite dark I don't mind it - there is a nice moodiness to it for me. The B&W OTOH is just a little too dark for my tastes despite the interesting subject matter.

Yeah mate the clouds stoped any colour from coming through in the first one so was pretty disappointed but just got what I could. With the last two there was a nice vivid sunset but then no clouds haha.

Yeah the bushes are dark as the ND grad covered them but it does work as you say to give it a more moody feel and the long exposure blurred the clouds to add to the glumness feel.

The B and W image is darker as I brought the contrast up to define the cloud formation more but as a consequence the foreground is a bit too dark even after using a 0.9 ND Grad.
