Hey guys,
Saturday morning at lake george as we were flying passed in a car. The light and mist were just amazing but we didn't have too much time to stop =(
This is the best we could do hanging out the window.
Regards
Dave

Dave,
For hanging out the window, and on the little screen of my netbook, that looks pretty bloody nice.

Wow that is magical! I think you could crop a little to make it even stronger.
Hope you took some more with different compos.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I've been trying to find a pano crop that works. I quite like the dark black in the foreground and the wispy cloud in the sky so trying to find a balance between them i found very hard.
This is what i came up with.
Any suggestions?

Proof once again that taking a pic at the right place and time is worthwhile. (otherwise you miss out)
I like this.

I am not sure on the second version. I feel the first one has
a greater range of colour on my screen. It is a good picture
either way.

Thanks for the comments guys,
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the image was out the window of the car. I've been thinking of getting a micro 4/3 gf-1 or something for quick snap opportunities that would otherwise be missed as i don't have a camera with me.
I also think that I like the first image more than the pano. The extra black in the foreground adds something for me. I think though the pano might look better in a frame. So many choices =)
