Well, today being a day off i've been revisiting some old images from 2009. Came across my first ever wedding shoot, and discovered a few images I hadn't used, for some unknown reason, and well here is one of them, touched up a little bit, but I love it. I like that there is no eye contact and the soft light filtering through from the background. Please tell me what you think, I am considering re visiting more of the photo's as my editing abilities changed drastically in the last two years. So CC more then welcome, rather invited! :)

I love it.

The bride is distracted by something, with beautiful soft front lighting and a nice rim-light effect. Exposure and wb are spot on.

:agree: [due to sheer laziness, although I could have written something meaningful in the time it took me to write this explanation of why I resorted to a simple emoticon :D ]

I reckon everything is in place for this image to be strong on it's own without much skin softening. Do you have an un-soft skin version for us to compare?

Thanks guys for your comments, all are appreciated. Surrenj i'm attaching a non softened version, i think i prefer the softened version but there isn't a massive difference. But i think it certainly softened the shoulder which i think stands out a little too much in the image without the softening of the skin.

cracking shot, even though there is no eye contact it still feels like a strong image...

a bit more PP might be order, it feels a bit darker at my end, could be my monitor though.

here's my thoughts (note, let me know if you want it removed)
