Well done Greg,

What camera settings did you use ?

It takes a bit of getting used to this Lens. BTW : Do you know what the Limit switch is for, I haven't got around to ask before.

Thanks,

Mic.

No apologies needed, Greg. I think that's a sweet little shot and a neat little plant. I've always liked ferns.

Mic, the limit switch keeps the auto focus from searching its full range, limiting it either to .45m to infinity or .45m to min focusing distance.

Thanks guys.

mic, i just used aperture priority, f5.6, 1/320 sec, and let the camera do the exposure work. The uncropped frame was fairly meter friendly. Morning sun.

Not trying to be a smartarse mic, but it is worth looking at the lens' manual :)

Greg, that would be the logical thing to do now wouldn't it

But with 2 screaming kids, Colour posting problems, work hassles, a mortgage, a new Wacom Tablet to figure out, etc, etc.

Oh and a Wife & the fact that Marcus still thinks I'm a Girl :? :?

I just thought I would ask.

Mic.

Thanks Steve, Thats all I wanted to know.

These macro shots seems to bring so much detail to things I probably would never have previously noticed... Great detail...
