#1 seems slight underexposed? Are you running it through HDR or something? I reckon the compo is strong enough for it to stand on it's own [without any HDR]

#2 Electrifying colors!

Did realise you went back to play with your chopper toys!

Where did you fish? [When we left it was raining cats and dogs but not fish... ]

The first is very moody, to the menacing end of things.
The colour and all for two is great. There are some good artists out there.

As for three, you did not tell us that you went for a swim while fishing

#1 is very nice - the shots I got from my D7000 also had that similar dark moody feel (and I wasn't using an ND Grad like you boys which would only have enhanced the darkness in the skies).

I havn't even looked at let alone processed my street/graf images :( but I think yours perfectly captures the feel of the street we were in - lovely vibrant colours

I like the first shot although, as Suren suggested, it looks a little under.

Whilst the colours in the second are strong, it doesn't do much for me as it looks just like a repro of other artwork. Adding some context - a person walking in front or someother item - would have added to this.

The chopper is definitely the weak link here. But I really do like the moody sea scape!

The sky does look a bit dark, probably could have done without the GND on that one. There is no HDR in this image.

when the paint is relatively fresh like this, its a crime not to portray them in punchy bold colours

lol, rescue base open day at La perouse, great for the kids!

was at la perouse and bare island until late (fyi no sunset...just wet clouds..:) ) caught a few fish and contrary to popular belief I did not go for a swim, tho I did get quite wet and luckily no need for the rescue chopper to come and pick me up. :rotfl2:

that is correct, it is merely a picture of someones artwork, however I think there are merits for cropping their artwork to suit your own vision of the wall

heres a few more from the same area, these have some context.

There is definitely some talent out there Gerry.
It would be interesting to see pics of the works in development ie while being created.
I take it this is commissioned work, which may make it easier to get to watch it going up when it is next altered.

hmm, that gives me an idea, I know the dudes up the road have their alley wall done every now and then - it would be cool to setup the cam with the intervalometer thingy and get a time lapse of the creation!

good idea colin!
