Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. D80 StreetI have been rather quiet lately in terms of picture posts so I thought I may as well post a few from last weeks roam around with my D80. It was a rather strange experience using a camera that is so familiar yet so foreign (I own and use F80's which operate the same way, the colour/exposure/AWB is quite unlike any of my other DSLRs), especially since it was coupled with a zoom lens (I have been shooting primes lately).
"More Vivid" mode - whatever happened to this option? "Vivid" and spot metering works well How could I resist that nice multicoating reflection? Finding where the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 excels Centre weighted metering isnt bad Cameron

Re: D80 Street#2 is nice, I know you were checking out vivid but had you considered monochrome?
#3 is an interesting take on a tried and tested theme D600, D7000, Nikon/Sigma/Tamron Lenses, Nikon Flashes, Sirui/Manfrotto/Benro Sticks

Re: D80 StreetGreat to see some pictures from you Cameron. Keep em coming.
Re: D80 Streetsee.. the D80 is a damn awesome camera!
That second image is great, simple yet complicated! you could process this a multitute of ways, from BW to polaroid and I think they would all work. Nice work cameron! gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: D80 StreetThanks heaps all of you....
I was thinking that....contrasty monochrome would work nicely....on the netbook atm, but I may give it a whirl later on the PC.
I never doubted it Gerry, I have used D80's before, but that was a long time ago...this camera will be IR converted in the next month or two though.
I'll try to keep them coming...but if you need a fix of my dodgy pics keep an eye out here: http://365project.org/aim54x/365 Cameron
