Fall Girls

That second shot is a wonderful capture of the girls - one to treasure.

i agree, great concept.

on a side note it would have been awesome to get a shot of them running down a treelined stree throwing up the leaves (preferably nice red ones)

In terms of teh PP treatment, I reckon your version has some great potential, I would look to push the contrast just a bit and couple this with d-lighting and a crop just to remove any doubt as to what the main subject is and it would be sweet,.

heres a quick crack I had - let me know if you want it removed etc...

Thanks Gerry I've taken a look at that and made some more edits in Lightroom based on this

fair enough on the wet leaves - although there aome nice autumn oak tree leaves in sydney at the moment which work really well for this - if only i had a camera the same time

Glad the PP made you take another look, its a really nice shot

I'll second Geoff's comments here. I remember taking similar photos years ago when my kids were much younger, down around Kankoban (sp) in the Snowy mountains. Thankfully then it was very dry and they could roll around in the leaves without getting saturated!
