Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Re: Recent images in my 365 projectI really like the last one, although the colours are a tad unusual. What treatment did you give it? I love the 365 project idea.

Re: Recent images in my 365 project#4 is superb and has a Dan Winter feel to it! [Too bad about the flowery background though]
Re: Recent images in my 365 project
This image was processed in LR3 where I applied a preset '300'
Hardly in the same league, but can see the resemblance with the processing. It was a shame about the flowery b/g, the flowers were bright yellow, the 300 preset desaturates the colours somewhat, but I further desaturated the flowers using an adjustment brush. My intent was to make this a B&W, but the image was mistakenly shot at ISO3200 and did not look right - too much noise even after attempting reduction in LR3. Re: Recent images in my 365 projectGeoff, I think #4 is good enough for you to spend a bit of time extracting the fella from the flowery happiness so that you can make the background more neutral and the image a little stronger.
Re: Recent images in my 365 projectGeoff, your making me feel really guilty about my lacklustre postings on my project.
