I took this one at a bullfight in Madrid a couple of weeks ago. This kind of
bullfighting is done on horseback and despite what some of you will say
one has to admire the dexterity of the rider and the movements of
the horse. Both horse and person become a single entity before the bull.
And yes, the bull suffers and ends up dead within the twenty minutes the
performance lasts. Both rider and horse risk their lives in front of a very
powerful wild animal that will try to defend itself from the danger and the
pain he is being inflicted. I chose this picture because it is the less gruesome of
all I took.
