Been recently rearranging my kit again with more of a travel orientation.

Wife and I are going on a photographic tour of Italy in September where we will visit Rome, the Amalfi Coast and Tuscany.

So I bought my wife a 16-85 zoom for her D7000 and treated myself to the new Nikon 35mm f/-1.4.

Had a familiarity walk around with the new lens and here's a couple of flower shots. (not the intended reason it was purchased lol. I expect to use it for street shots in Rome, Markets, indoor low light in buildings etc.)

Thanks Marvin. There are a couple of ladies in Brisbane who run it. They call themselves "Capture Italy" and you could google their website where the full itinery is comprehensively detailed.
