On part of the Antarctica / South America trip with Stubbsy, we visited Palacio Barolo a gem of a place, that Peter found online, right in the heart of Buenos Aires. The place is now used as mainly office space, but two brothers with ties to the building, run tours with wine and olive tasting.

I thought I'd finally share a few images from the trip - so please fire away with the feedback.

One of the brothers took this one.

I'd say "And about time too" except that would leave me open to the same criticism.
#1 I like. I captures a lot of elements that I found while in BA
#2 It is a shame you don't have all of the bottom step. I think this would make it stronger.
#4 maybe bring up the lighting in the bottom half to help balance out the brightness in the roof.
#5 Is that Butch Cassidy & Sundance? :P We ran into them further south, but I guess they stopped in BA on the way down.

Hi Craig

I agree with Greg's comments.

#3 I think the composition is a bit too central for me. It probably would be better as a sliver of a city under a huge sky or the big city under a smaller sky. Also I think the horizon is out by say two degrees. Either way, I don't think it really pops because there is not enough form in the city shapes.

Craig

About bloody time (although I'm still not finished PP on all my images either  ).

That first image is great, but at screen size you don't fully appreciate the sense of scale until you look close and realise there's a person walking across the floor at the bottom.

#2 Like Greg I'd have liked a touch more on the RHS. Regardless this one's a fine image - nice sensuous curves and well exposed.
