I missed the best light (only a few minutes late!) but managed to capture some of it during our latest (last minute decision) excursion to Colloroy beach....

It is a breath of fresh air to include some people in landscape pictures.

Looking very good there Suren. Plenty of movement, the silhouettes add proportion and very nice lines!

Cloud action!! (... can you feel the jealousy )

Interesting reflections of colour from the sky on the water - I'm not sure I like it or not yet...

Composition wise I kinda want to crop some of the left, right and bottom off and I reckon it might have been stronger with the three people Cam got closer together rather than the two quite far apart.

Yes we were, but yours was taken a bit later...hence the people had changed position

Looking good suren, a few points from my end of the cable.

1) The composition could have be improved by moving the frame left and upwards. This would have the effect of more sky and and less sea on the RHS. This would mean the rock point on the lower left would also intersect the bottom RHS cnr. thus centralising the figures and imo providing a bit more balance the frame. As always, easy in hindsight and its only my POV.

2) well done on the water movement, the shutter speed and timing have nailed the wave and it conveys the sense of the sea, movement and also the closeness of the fisherman to the water.

3) you could push the PP, however I think its pretty well fine where it is.

I think your compositions are usual quite good, but with this shot there is the intruding elements of the people on the rocks. Short of a shotgun there is not much you can do about people getting in the way.
On rereading this it really shows I do not like people in landscape shots, I can live with that.
