A couple from my recent trip to the UK.
Souvenir seller on Westminster bridge, it was a hive of activity at around 10.00pm, but the man was packing up his stall and heading home.

Missed this one until it appeared on the POTW!

Interesting capture Craig. Did you set up the tripod infront of him to take this?

Also, what are those brick-a-bracks he is selling?

thanks
I set up the tripod hard up against the bridge railing as I wanted a shot that was a little different from the usual. I wanted to show more than the landmark and decided to include the activity taking place in the tourist spot. This fellow was perched on the footpath under a street/bridge light and was selling miniture phone boxes, Big Ben etc, it was just starting to lightly rain and he was packing up for the night. I took about a dozen shots just trying to get the right level of crowd and traffic in the background and this one came out best.
I must give thanks to my wife who acted as lens hood (the real hood had gone to a watery grave, but that is another story) keeping the lens free of both the rain and flare from the overhead street/bridge light.

Did not know the image was selected as potw until you mentioned it. :D
