This visit was cut short pretty quickly by security and I only got a handful of images because I was wasting time doing a bit of strobism etc. I've processed this image to give the general vibe of this place. Any ideas for improvements or any comments etc?

Unfortunately, Suren, I am not getting a real perspective of the place or the other trams within. I think it is lacking real impact and a point of focus.

Looks like an interesting place to shoot if you can avoid the bouncers. Hope you can get back there sometime.

I think Patrick is right on this image - there is no depth perception or point of interest.

Suren, as briefly mentioned to you teh other day, I actually like this image and in contrast to the other critiques, i think there is depth to it, albeit subtle. The repeating lines of the subsequent trams creates a focus point for my eyes and makes me look twice, additionally it gives the image the depth. I thinking working with that feature as a primary draw card to the image would be the way to go, how to accentuate this? maybe cropping that pole on the right, that really feels like a distractant (yes i made that word up), possibly go a square crop (as much as i dislike most of my own square crops).

Fair call. Since I can't revisit, I might have a go at salvaging a little... Still haven't processed a very wide panorama from the place which may give me some sense of scale etc...

Thanks Gerry. I can't remember why I included the distractant (sometimes I will make a mental note to crop later) but it's not obvious in this case. I did try to blur out the other trams but 50mm at 2.8 wasn't enough to do it. I will have another look at it. I am keen to have a keepsake that's different from the other obvious viewpoints that's every dog has done before.

Definitely something different from the usual for this location. I do find that the trams are a bit too compressed and you have trouble distinguishing them from one another and the background, as if the graffiti acts as a form or camouflage. I guess we will never have another chance to reshoot, but kudos for the experimentation.

I can see that you tried to get a sense of depth and perspective into the shot, but the graffiti dissolves all the leading lines into a bowl of M&Ms Not an easy subject…
