The brass against the green painted door appealed to me.

It's so shiny and smooth. It's mounted quite close to the door providing a solid foundation and that girth is enough to give you a secure grip to tug at it hard. It definitely is quite a well built knob.

Asides from that, I like your detailed shots you've been posting so far. My only thought is to reduce the exposure a bit and burn the highlight so it is slightly less pronounced.
