The first is very cool and the second is not bad either.

With the first I think it could be warmed some - it looks a little cool to me.

Yes, I think I like the first and second too.
Were you using filters? I feel the colours
should havebeen more vivid in daylight.

I only used a polariser, the pictures are a bit deceiving as it was overcast most of the time with scattered showers when all the day Yarra ones were taken (kept having to shelter under the bridge) For #2 it had been raining only 2 minutes before (we were sheltering under the bridge on which it was taken on) BTW Melbourne corrected :)

Which part of "it was raining in Melbourne" do you think is a bit deceiving?

That would be the bit where he said scattered showers

Chaase, I hope I am not offending you with this but just using
the Auto tone in CS5 has improved the colours of your
image giving them a bit of vibrancy... I am sure you can do
even better with the original photograph.

pLease let me know if you want to remove your picture. :)

No not at all, it's why I have "Edit photos OK" in my sig. It's the best way to learn

Drop down the Image menu to find:
Auto tone
Auto contrast
Auto color

After appliying one of the above, you
can reduce de effect by dropping the
Edit menu and finding the Auto...
whatever effect you last applied.

It is very unsophisticate, but a very
simple way to improve some images.
