I was down at Port Botany today, and the combination of my 70-200mm VR + TC14EII proved to put me in range of the aircraft leaving the airport. I have had to add a fair bit of contrast and manipulate the colours due to the hazy conditions out there today. C&C much appreciated

ohh, there are the plane shots :)

nice smash 8 there too! (200/300 series)

I like the first one here, however a crop to position teh plane at a 3rd interesection would make for a much stronger image, particulary with all that space.

you have done well with the colours, they maybe a tad pushed however I appreciate the effort needed to get thru the haze and correct the whites. It also looks like great conditions (excluding the haze), nice soft diffused light and fluffy clouds.

If only that was true...these were very much snippets of barely blue sky pushed to all hell and the haze was terrible.

Thanks

Can't help thinking your shutter speed was too high. Either that or the planes are about to fall out of the sky.
