......capturing bugs!
Surprising the variety of bugs around in ones back yard if only you take the time to look.
Here is one from this morning. I found several of these crawling all over our Zucchini plants in the veggie garden. This afternoon they are all gone (the bugs, not the plants).
Can anyone provide an ID? I thought it was a caterpillar but it only has 6 legs to the front of the body. In this image towards the back and under the bug those are two small 'twigs' or grass. I would guess, judging from the colour and those spiky protrusions, it would be poisionous? Overall length would be around 10mm with a body width of approx 5mm.
