Nice lighting, but I feel it's a little flat. I think it falls too much between a pure macro and a traditional still life, in that it is too close for the latter without textural lighting, but not close enough for a true macro.

Lighting is excellent and shows off the form, or roundness, very nicely. Background is beautifully controlled. Composition is a little awkward and perhaps the camera should have been orientated in portrait mode. Steamed with butter and a little salt & pepper....delicious!
