Xmas day storm clouds

Hello Everyone

I took these from the rear deck of my daughters house out west in Melbourne on Xmas day the clouds were very low and swirling around in a circle which was quite unusual , whilst i was taking photo's my youngest grandson came out to see what i was doing so he became a subject also i tried to show him in from of the clouds and used some fill flash

Taken with Nikon D3s and SB800

Awesome drama and scale. Love the pool shot however the pool looks like it is falling over.

Pretty scary clouds.....storm impending, batten the hatches. I like the last image but the flash was just a touch too hot. I find it works best when used that way if you dial it down to about minus 1.3. Give it a try.

Scary clouds alright. That was the worst storm Melbourne has ever seen. Some of the north eastern suburbs got 3-4 inches of rain.
