Re: Local Horse Show 126 ys oldJim I like the processing of this image and the way in which you have captured the era of the event but the red border does not fit in with what you are trying to convey. Can we see the image without it please?

Re: Local Horse Show 126 ys oldI would like to disagree with the above comments,
but I'm afraid the red line is distracting and takes away - as red always captures - attention from the main subject.
Re: Local Horse Show 126 ys oldI love the period shot you're trying to achieve. Get rid of the out of character red outline and you'll have a nice shot.
Re: Local Horse Show 126 ys old If you have to have a line around the inner section of the shot - try a sepia tone - would be more in standing with the 'era' of the photo you are trying to achieve (I think )

Re: Local Horse Show 126 ys oldThanks for the feed back I use this pencil line on colour prtraits and thought it may be nice on the B&W -Obviously not but here is the place to gauge opinion jim
Re: Local Horse Show 126 ys oldI agree! It looks better because you
are not distracted.
