A small bit of info: the building is actually the Westminster Clock Tower and the bell inside is named Big Ben

Thanks. I have always known this landmark as the
Big Ben. It didn't occur to me the name referred to
the clock itself - not the tower holding it. If you
check this, you can understand the confusion.

Its a nice shot, good angle on the tower, nice light, but it does look very very sharp - that could be web resizing?

I reckon it's a P&S shot (JPEG) which has been sharpened again for web.

Thanks for the comments. What I posted is the British
Parliament, also from a similar angle (London Wheel).

The sharpness is a combination a reduction of picture
dimensions, a little sharpness and contrast in PhotoShop.
I had to enhance the contrast to eliminate the milky
effect produced by the the light reflection on the window
glass.

It also has a 3D effect, which is also in the original picture.
I think is due to the sun angle and the natural shadows.
