Here are three images I took on yesterday's Wentworth Falls meet for C & C.
These meets are always a great day.

I like the first of these, although I always find the inclusion of man made structures in such landscape scenes a bit of a let down.

Good work on the light orbs too, I know how difficult these can be.....more for the person with the light rather than the photographer.

Great to see you made it up there Gary, cheers for making the effort.

I like the first one and I stand by my comment that this was a the money shot, the only downer is that wind which left those trees quite blurry. I think cropping this one a bit tighter may help too, this would also minimise the effect of teh blur and concentrate viewer straight to the falls.

Good classic shot on the second, great position there and I think with a small crop from teh top and left (to move some of teh falls into the intersection of 3rds) and it would be a very strong image.

#1 for me but as Gerry suggested perhaps a closer crop to remove the blurry bushes

If you own a Fuji X10 like Matt (and me!) then orbs is a subject that you don't want to hear about!

But these are excellent! Well done!

Do not mind the blurry bushes in #1 but would suggest some off the bottom to make it more of a pano crop, I thin the horizon is off a little as my feeble brain tells me that rock shelf at the top should be level.
I agree about the suggest crop for #2.
I have never tried and know next to nothing about the orbes but I guess the shutter was opened before and after the spinning started and finished. With a remote release in one hand, spinning wand in the other, the spinning could be started before the shutter is opened and coucluded after the shutter was closed which would tidy up the odd trails around the ball.
