Thanks to all who made it up in the miserable weather that we had! however one must seize the opportunity where ever possible and whilst the primary aim for me was gonna be star trails, waterfalls was more on the cards due to a minor issue with clouds

I certainly have enough waterfall shots now..

I really quite like #2 - it may be a cliche but it is very nicely done - I would have perhaps liked a little bit more on the top (but I don't know what was up there)

#3 however really takes my fancy - not exactly sure why but I liked it when I first saw it and strangely at first I didn't feel like I was looking down at all - it wasn't till I studied it more that I tipped in (perhaps thats why I like it - got me looking for a while )

Number 3 for me as well Gerry. That is a classic shot.

#2 & 4 are my picks. I'd like to see a larger version of #4. Well done.

yeah, me too, the only problem was teh sky and for some I used the GND but i found even with teh cloudy day this set of falls was very hard to nail with a good bit of sky in there, i actually reckon a blue sky with the bigstopper would work well here..

I tell ya what, its a bit hair raising at that spot, the camera and tripod are out on teh rock wall and its a 200+ metre drop straight down. The conditions were pretty perfect for this set of falls, quite late in teh day and very cloudy, plenty of water flowing and nice wet rocks from teh rain...

I like them all - water looks a bit purple in #1? Why is that?

good point, dunno, however easy enough to correct, i just desat the purple, looks better imo.

interesting, i nearly did not bother editing those shots into a pano, however I am glad I did, the clouds and mist do give it a bit extra i think.

Hi Gerry,

#1 You've corrected the mauve cast well. I think the rock at the bottom right slightly intrudes as it's slightly cut off.

#2 is superb compo.

#3 superb perspective. I wasn't brave enough to manipulate the tripod to get this shot. Infact I wasn't even sure it was possible. Nicely done indeed! Watch that mauve cast though. Did you see it? If not, you might need to borrow the caibrator or maybe I need a new monitor!

#4 I can see either a real or digital grad at work and it detracts. Pull the effect back a little.

#5 superb especially since I saw you nailing this in 2 shots! The spider must have also seen you with at least one of it's many eyes...

For all of them, I suggest slightly reducing saturation. perhaps 5%.

cheers for teh feedback Suren, yes you are correct about more mauve (spell?) cast in the other image as well. Gonna have to borrow that calibrator again

Grad lines in the pano, yes if you look hard enough there is, I may well go back and revisit that to clean them up.

I also agree with the saturation aspect, in my defence I blame teh polariser good to have another set of eyes to gauge off.
