A few more from my Berlin collection.

This image means nothing without a description or if you don't have insight into German culture (they're more than just BMWs, Leicas, Audis, beer and *wursts). In Berlin and other parts of Germany, the locals will always wait for the green man before crossing a road regardless of how quiet the road is.

I really like this one a lot. It's sweet and charming.

The third image is a classic Piro. It tells a story. How old is the couple? How cold is the weather? How late is the evening? Great photo.

The third actually made me look more than twice. An emotive and enjoyable image.
Thank you for sharing it with us.

Another vote for the third. A timeless, emotive quality about it.

Hi Piro, you're obviously going through your "black phase" right now, which makes it sometimes hard to see anything in your photographs

But when I can make out something I usually do like it. Like everybody else in this thread I love the image of old couple. I also dig the shot of the Kollwitz sculpture. It puts the unavoidable visitor hordes to good use in the composition.

Cheers
Steffen.

I guess it is a temporary technical glitch? And yes, I too quite enjoy
your photography.

Can someone enlighten me as to how the photos are dark? :) I've checked on four different monitors and they're all fine to me.

Wayne, I don't think people revsaying they are under exposed but lowish key. I could be wrong.

These are Leica, right?

I particularly like the first. It is more evocative Han he others, I think.

#3 for the story, but # 2 kept me looking longer, wondering about and studying the central subject. Love the candids and the stories they tell. Well done.

I like the first one, quintesential early colour film, reminds me of shots in the old word or time magazines from yester-year.

Maybe you like them this dark? This is the histogram of the old couple image:

I like 3,4 & 2. The 3rd is very well composed.
