The Gayundah was a former Queensland Navy ship that was transferred to the RAN after federation. After surviving WWI she was converted to a gravel barge, then in the late fifties she was scuttled off the Redcliffe peninsula to be used as a breakwater.

This is what remains of her as of last week.

This is what she used to look like in 1890:

Still quite a lot more left of her than other wrecks I've seen

Seems to be in better condition than the Sygna wreck in Newcastle. Although I think they took parts of the Sygna away for recycling.

Amazing. She went from
Session Timeout!

in 1912 to this in only 100 years.

I quite like the treatment you have used in 2012 Perhaps, if anything, the white vignette is a little heavy handed for my taste

I like the timeless feel to this this quite a lot but would like to see how it was without the vignette.

Once again - this time with no vignette and a different historical image (copyright expired). I actually think she is better looking as a wreck  :

The contrast is a little heavy for me, but i still personally prefer it to the other. I like the shot.

Contrast is a bit much for me. I wonder how different monitors show contrast. Whether calibration helps with it?
