Red dirt dusk

One from about 18 months ago. A normally light red roadway blushes with colour with the sunset glow. A couple of minutes from home and always covered in wild sunflowers. I had to crouch very low to avoid throwing a shadow in the frame with the last of the setting sun directly behind me.

You've captured the spirit of Australia with that image. How perfect does that moon fit?

I love it, however i think getting the sunflower more prominent (larger) in teh frame would make for a stronger image.

Up here, even the moon does what it can to be sociable. :wink:

It is a very good lanscape; simple and yet
effective with its contrasting colours. I
couldn't help thinking that I would have
put those sunflowers more in the foreground,
which would probably would have ruined the
landscape...
