#1 is a wonderful, subtle candid. While I like the sepia treatment I'm ambivalent about that strong vignette.

The finish on the first is NIK software antiqu Plaque--Photographers dislike it and customers absolutely LOVE IT -go figure?
Very proud of our little girl as they had a difficult road till now

The pics tell a story and do it very beautifully. No captions needed.

Hi Jim - whilst the processing of the first isn't something I'm particularly keen on myself the image has a very nice feel to it. At first I was thinking I would have preferred the point of focus being a tad further in - e.g. so the baby was more in focus rather than the dads eye but I'm coming around :)

With the second image my suggestion would be to fix the colour balance of the 5th (and maybe 4th and 6th) image down as they really don't feel warm like the rest (esp the 5th). I think the inclusion of the ear is a great idea but I'd probably reshoot it and do it from a different angle - this one doesn't feel right for some reason

I must add my voice to the chorus of
approval for the first image. I like everything
about it even and including the grainy look,
which gives it texture.

I also like the composition of the second and
the contrast between black & white of the
main image and the little colour thumbnails
on the left. However, I would substitute the
pink of the colour text for a more subdue
and complimentary colour. It is too loud and
draws away your attention from the image.
