Village play

I spent the Easter weekend going through the villages of Cinque Terre, by the North Italian coast. One thing I observed was even though the villages were small, there were kids of different ages always playing anywhere there was space. And of course, it was football they were playing :)

All quite good, but my fave is #2.

I love the sense of mischief on the face of the front kid, and the blurring of the limbs of both provides a sense of the chase.

Well done. :D

My question is how the hell did you manage to get distracted and take some great photos of kids when you were in one of the world's most beautiful regions, just screaming for you to take photos of the different villages, and seascapes, olive groves and vineyards, walking tracks, and so on?

Thanks guys. Number two is my favourite as well. The composition is as is, apart from cropping to 645 ratio.

Gary - Oh I did all of that. There are still many images in my collection of the environment and the food. I spent 3 days there and took in everything, including a 5+ hour hike through the ranges from Riomaggiore towards Monterosso. That plan got cut short since the path to Vernazza was cut off from a mudslide.
