Italy by IlfordI went through a roll of Ilford HP5 Super 400 just to see how it compared to the venerable Tri-X. Have to say I'm fairly impressed by it, though I still prefer the rich contrast from the Tri-X.

Re: Italy by IlfordThat's the Italy that I love.
These are great; can you find some Agfa Pan 100 to play with? g.
Gary Stark Nikon, Canon, Bronica .... stuff The people who want English to be the official language of the United States are uncomfortable with their leaders being fluent in it - US Pres. Bartlet
Re: Italy by IlfordWow the first two look like tricky exposures which you've handled well. Are these dark roomed by your self?
Re: Italy by IlfordI do like these, the second in particular. Haven't shot any 400 film for a while and this encourages me to do so.

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
Re: Italy by IlfordGary - will try and acquire some. Had a look at some samples and it does look like a film I'd enjoy using.
Surenj - these are scans from the negs. I don't have a darkroom or any other film equipment besides the camera. Patrick - So far it's been ASA400 or bust for me Though I did find some ASA3200 35mm film the other day in my bag. Was a bit of a random find considering I don't have a 35mm film camera here...might just be the universe giving me a signal to acquire another film body Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone
