I went through a roll of Ilford HP5 Super 400 just to see how it compared to the venerable Tri-X. Have to say I'm fairly impressed by it, though I still prefer the rich contrast from the Tri-X.

That's the Italy that I love.

These are great; can you find some Agfa Pan 100 to play with?

Wow the first two look like tricky exposures which you've handled well. Are these dark roomed by your self?

I do like these, the second in particular. Haven't shot any 400 film for a while and this encourages me to do so.

Gary - will try and acquire some. Had a look at some samples and it does look like a film I'd enjoy using.

Surenj - these are scans from the negs. I don't have a darkroom or any other film equipment besides the camera.

Patrick - So far it's been ASA400 or bust for me :) Though I did find some ASA3200 35mm film the other day in my bag. Was a bit of a random find considering I don't have a 35mm film camera here...might just be the universe giving me a signal to acquire another film body :)

I hadn't shot above 125 for a long time, but today picked up some HP5 to run through my F that I will push to 1600 for S&G :D
