I think the PP on the #1 suits the photo and subjects really well.
The interaction between the two of them seems odd to me. I think of this as being their 'goodbye' moment before going to war, so I'm not sure what else he'd possible be focusing on other than the woman who loves him. #3 has the type of interaction I'd also expect in #1.

Thank your for your comments. I did not realise
till you mentioned of that far away look in his
eyes. It leaves you guessing if there was a loud
sound that momentarily distracted him, was something
worrying him, perhaps his family? Is he trying to
be stoic and avoid a betraying tear?

In fact I called it sweethearts, but after your comments
I went back and this couple could easily be a brother
and sister or just friends. Perhaps a better title would have
been "departing" or "duty calls" :?:

A very nice series, the first image is the strongest, you could be led to believe that it is a historical image

Personally my pick of the samples is the 2nd image. I like the natural colours of the image. For some reason, I think that the first image is slightly too sharp, but that is my opinion. I love the shot and composition! It has a really nice central feel to it!

Was this a portrait session Zafra??

Great image either way. Timeless really. I think one could improve a little in post but it's nice as it is. I forgot to take the clarity off their faces but you get the gist.

I prefer the first but agree it is a tad too high. The treatment in the last seems of a different age.

Thank you Surenj. I thought of put some grain
or noise in it, but I thought It would change it
a bit too much.
