Here is my first attempt at raw. This one doesn't look as good on the net as it did on my screen. I did the same thing as I do when I pp Jpeg. Hmmm, this Raw thing is opening up a whole new world, and I can see why you all shoot in Raw now, so much more quality to work with. However I really don't know what I'm doing. Anyhow, here is the pic. Suggestions for color for the web are welcome.



edit: Hmm, even duller here than on the pic hosting site. The original file is a Tif and it says here JPG, could that be the reason?

Edit: reposted and boosted contrast so it looks a little more like the one I edited, although still not quite there.

heres some more detail for you dooda

Play with the white balance temperature and tint, then brightness and contrast using 16 bit depth then ok when happy then use save as, to leave your original raw file untouch so you can go back and reprocess if needed
