I took the photo of an old service truck engine a couple
of weeks ago and I couldn't make my mind what to do
with it. This is what I came up with:

Very nice end result I must say - I'm not normally a fan of textured images (actually I usually hate them) but the effect here is good.

I am not a great fan of textured images either except when there done well like this one you have really made a nice image here

I reckon you could add some contrast thus...[pls ignore the loss of sharpness]

surenj, I use the two photgraphs in layers
and I adjusted their transparancy to get
the result I wanted. I think I added another
layer for vigneting.

Prefer the first version as it's more subtle. Nice blend of the two photos.
